Punjabi School Mission
We strongly feel that in order for a culture to maintain its heritage, it is important we pass on our language to our children. The goal of the Punjabi School is to provide education to the sangat related to the Punjabi language. The school's curriculum will enable students to read, write, and speak Punjabi. Additionally, the students will be taught about Sikh history and way of life.
We encourage all sangat to enroll their children into the school. School coincides with the school calendar of the city of Roseville, and is in session from August through June. Currently, there are 140+ students attending 7 different levels of education. The students are assigned to specific levels depending on their age and knowledge of the Punjabi language.
Welcome to Punjabi SchoolWaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
Welcome parents, students, and teachers to the 2017-2018 school year at Roseville Gurdwara Punjabi School. We hope that you have had a restful summer break, and look forward to the new school year.
School begins August 20th at 10:15 am in the Dashmesh Hall. An all student and parent assembly (MANDATORY) begins the school year; details of classroom levels and upcoming events will be outlined.
The school year is successful only with parent involvement. The school still needs teachers to support all the levels of cirriculum. Parents interested in volunteering time for events can sign up at the Langar Hall registration table. In past years, parents have assisted with the annual cultural show, paath and langar sewa program, classroom homework correction, and other areas.
We look forward to another year of school. Thank you!
